📊 Health Understanding

How your financial score is calculated

🎯 What is the Financial Health Score?

Your Financial Health Score is a number between 0 and 100 that reflects your overall financial stability. It is calculated automatically based on the financial data you enter into Atomix Finance.

A higher score means your finances are in better shape — you're saving more, spending less on fixed commitments, and carrying less debt.

Combined

📐 The 4 Scoring Factors

The score is split across four weighted factors, each contributing a maximum number of points:

🎯
Savings Rate — up to 30 pts
≥20% of income saved = 30 pts · 10–19% = 18 pts · 1–9% = 8 pts
🔒
Commitment Ratio — up to 30 pts
Bills <40% of income = 30 pts · 40–49% = 22 pts · 50–65% = 12 pts
💰
Net Available Balance — up to 20 pts
>20% income leftover = 20 pts · Any positive = 12 pts · Zero = 5 pts
🏦
Debt Load — up to 20 pts
No debt = 20 pts · Debt <30% annual income = 16 pts · <60% = 8 pts

🟠 Atomix Finance Help
Welcome to Atomix Finance
A personal & family financial management tool that helps you track income, expenses, savings, debts, and financial goals — so you can make smarter decisions and build better financial habits.
⚡ 5-Step Quick Start
1
💰 Add Your Income
Go to the Income tab and tap +. Add your monthly salary, freelance income, rental income, or family contributions. You can have multiple income sources and edit them whenever your earnings change.
2
🔒 Record Fixed Commitments
Go to Bills and add all your recurring obligations — rent, loan EMIs, subscriptions, insurance. These are auto-deducted from your available balance and appear on the dashboard.
3
🛒 Log Daily Expenses
Use the ⚡ Quick Add button on the Dashboard for the fastest entry — just tap, enter the amount, pick a category, and you're done. For full details, use the Expenses screen.
4
🎯 Set Savings Goals
Go to Savings to create goals like Travel Fund, Emergency Fund, or a major purchase. Track your progress and see exactly how much more you need to save.
5
📊 Monitor Your Financial Health
Check your Financial Health Score on the dashboard (top-right chip) or under More → Charts & Score. The score reflects your overall financial stability — not just income.
✅ Pro Tip
The more accurately you log your income and expenses, the more precise your Health Score and dashboard figures will be. Make it a habit to log expenses daily — it only takes seconds!
🏠
Dashboard Overview
Your financial command centre
›

The Dashboard shows a real-time summary of your complete financial picture. The large number at the top is your Real Available Balance — your total income minus all fixed bills, credit card spends, debts, and daily expenses.

Below the balance band, the 4-metric row shows Income, Expenses, Savings, and Commitments at a glance. Tap any cell to jump to that section.

Income Tracker
All your earnings in one place
›

Add every source of income to get an accurate picture of your total earnings. Tap + on the Income screen to add a new source. You can assign each income entry to a family member.

Use the ✏️ Edit button to update an income source when your salary changes. The dashboard balance will update automatically.

Fixed Bills & Commitments
Recurring monthly obligations
›

This section tracks all your fixed monthly obligations. These are amounts you must pay every month regardless of spending habits. They are automatically deducted from your available balance calculation.

Each bill has a due date. Use the ✓ Mark Paid button each month once you've paid it. Overdue bills are highlighted in red as a reminder.

🏠 Rent / Mortgage 📱 Subscriptions 🏦 Loan EMIs 🔁 Recurring Payments
🎯
Savings Planner
Build towards your goals
›

Create savings goals and track your progress toward each one. Set a target amount and see a progress bar showing how far along you are. The system calculates how much you still need to save.

You can add deposits to a goal whenever you set aside money. Multiple goals can run simultaneously — for example, a Travel Fund and an Emergency Fund at the same time.

✈️ Travel Goal 🆘 Emergency Fund 📱 Major Purchase 🏡 Housing
💳
Credit Card Management
Track usage & available credit
›

Add each credit card with its credit limit and current outstanding balance. The system calculates your Credit Utilisation Ratio — how much of your available credit you've used. High utilisation can impact your financial health score.

Track your payment due dates to avoid late fees. The outstanding balance is included in your total liabilities calculation on the dashboard.

💳 Outstanding Balance 📊 Credit Utilisation 📅 Due Dates 💰 Available Credit
🏦
Debt & Loan Manager
Understand your total liabilities
›

Record every liability — personal loans, car loans, borrowed money, credit card debt. For each debt, enter the total amount owed and the repayment timeline. This gives you a clear picture of your total financial obligations.

The total debt figure feeds directly into your Financial Health Score calculation. Reducing your debt-to-income ratio improves your score over time.

📊
Financial Health Score
Your overall financial stability rating
›

The Health Score (0–100) is a composite indicator of your financial wellbeing. It's calculated by analysing the balance between your income, expenses, savings, debts, and commitments. A higher score means healthier finances.

Tap the Health chip on the dashboard or go to More → Charts & Score to see a full breakdown of what's contributing to your score and what you can improve.

Scenario Simulator
Test future financial decisions
›

Before making a large purchase, use the Scenario Simulator to understand the impact on your budget. Enter the expense name and amount — the app instantly shows whether your current balance can absorb it.

The result will show one of three outcomes: Surplus (you can afford it comfortably), Neutral (tight but manageable), or Deficit (it would put you in the red).

✈️ Planning a Trip 📱 Buying a Phone 🛋️ Large Purchase 🏗️ Home Expense
🔍 Interest Rate Estimator
Don't know your exact interest rate? Enter three numbers and the system estimates it for you:
Borrowed / Principal Amount
Monthly Payment Amount
Number of Months (Tenure)
Output: Approximate annual interest rate · Total repayment amount · Total interest paid
⚠️ Important Note on Interest Estimates
The calculated interest rate is an approximation based on the inputs provided. It may differ from the actual interest rate charged by your lender due to processing fees, insurance charges, or different compounding methods. Always confirm rates with your bank or lender.
📈 Percentage Increase
Calculate the new value after a percentage increase. Useful for salary hikes, price rises, or investment returns.
Example
₹50,000 + 15% = ₹57,500 (added: ₹7,500)
📉 Percentage Decrease
Calculate the new value after a percentage reduction. Useful for discounts, cost savings, or salary cuts.
Example
₹80,000 − 20% = ₹64,000 (saved: ₹16,000)
🔄 Reverse Percentage
Find the original amount before a percentage increase was applied. Useful when you know the final price but want to find the base price.
Example
₹57,500 after 15% increase → Original = ₹50,000
🏦 EMI Calculator
Calculate your Equated Monthly Instalment for a loan. Enter the loan amount, annual interest rate, and tenure in months to see your monthly payment.
Example
₹5,00,000 @ 12% for 36 months → EMI ≈ ₹16,607/mo
🎯 Savings Planner Calculator
Find out how much you need to save each month to reach a financial goal. Enter the target amount and number of months to reach it.
Example
₹1,20,000 goal in 12 months → Save ₹10,000/month
📋 Budget Rule Calculator
Apply the 50/30/20 budgeting rule to your income. The system shows recommended split across Needs, Wants, and Savings.
Example (₹60,000 income)
Needs ₹30,000 · Wants ₹18,000 · Savings ₹12,000
